Kota Kinabalu, 18 September 2025 — Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (SEC), in collaboration with PETRONAS, successfully hosted the Terminal & Right-of-Way (ROW) Gas Pipeline Safety Briefing Programme at Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai today.

The initiative brought together industry stakeholders, community partners, and safety practitioners with the common goal of strengthening awareness and reinforcing best practices in gas pipeline safety.

The programme focused on three key objectives: enhancing understanding of terminal and pipeline safety, sharing ROW safety guidelines, and promoting collaboration between SEC, PETRONAS, and local communities.

The event reinforced the importance of safeguarding operational facilities and surrounding communities, highlighting that safety remains central to energy operations. The collaboration reflects the ongoing efforts by SEC and PETRONAS to ensure safe and reliable energy delivery across Sabah, while fostering stronger partnerships with local stakeholders.
