The session continued with an insightful presentation by Dr. Firdausi Suffian, CEO of Invest Sabah Berhad, who provided a comprehensive overview of Sabah’s industrial landscape. He highlighted the challenges, opportunities, and foundational strategies required to catalyse long-term economic and industrial growth in the state.

Moderated by Datuk Adzmir himself, the discussion sparked meaningful conversations on innovation, human capital development, and emerging technologies, themes central to SEC’s future direction and Sabah’s evolving industrial ecosystem. The exchange was rich not only in expertise but also in ambition and shared vision.
Adding a local perspective, Matthias Liew, founder of the Sabah-based beverage brand Uinah, inspired attendees with his story of entrepreneurship and resilience, reminding participants that Sabah’s progress is also powered by local innovators who dare to grow.
The conference culminated with an internal reflection session led by Mr. Shamsul Bahri Sulasi, SEC’s Head of Corporate Strategy, followed by the closing address from SEC Deputy Group CEO, Ir. Ts.
