In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha 2025, Sabah Energy Corporation (SEC) continued its commitment to community support through the donation of 43 sacrificial cows to selected recipients across Sabah. The initiative is part of SEC’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, aimed at uplifting underprivileged communities and fostering meaningful engagement during festive occasions.
The contributions were extended to government agencies, departments, NGOs, mosques, and villages in Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Tawau, and Keningau.
A ceremonial handover was held at the Dewan Pusat Kebudayaan Rumpun Bajau Samah Sabah in Tuaran, where 30 of the sacrificial cows were officially distributed. The event was officiated by the Chief Minister of Sabah, YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji bin Haji Noor, and brought together government agencies and government-linked companies (GLCs) for a joint community outreach effort. Representing SEC was Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Adzmir Abd Rahman.
This marks the second consecutive year SEC has undertaken this initiative, reinforcing the corporation’s commitment to balancing operational goals with its responsibility to contribute positively to the communities it serves.
SEC remains committed to being a responsible and compassionate corporate citizen, supporting the spirit of Hari Raya Aidiladha through initiatives that promote unity, empathy, and social well-being across Sabah.
