SEC believes that while serving the present generation, we must also consider the needs of future generations. Emphasising sustainability in every aspect of our operations and business strategies is essential to contributing to the well-being of society.
In conducting our activities, we have adopted a structured, sustainable approach aligned with the ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) framework and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the benefit of our workforce and the communities we serve.
To align with the global sustainability trend and the State own Sabah Energy Roadmap and Master Plan 2040, we have implemented three key measures to offset CO₂ emissions and advance towards our goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
