SEC was invited by the State Government to participate in the iGEM2017 Exhibition held at KLCC from 11th to 13th October 2017. The event was attended by the YBhg Datuk CEO, DCEO and three SEC’s officers.
The said event met SEC’s objective to showcase its Environmental Energy Solution initiatives, which comprises of its 2nd and 3rd phases of natural gas distribution (CNG and LNG) and renewable energy (solar and hydro).

Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (SEC) through its SEC-CSR Program has donated 7 units of Projectors and Silver Screen to Sekolah Kebangsaan Pinggan-Pinggan, Pitas. The said donation is to assist students in their studies leading towards the 21st Century.
SEC’s CEO Datuk Harun Hj Ismail presented the 7 units Projectors and the Silver Screen in a ceremony at the school on 9th October 2017. The ceremony were attended by Pitas Education Officers, PIBAGU representatives, students and SEC’s Management.
Datuk Harun said that the school equipment donated will be able to assist the 500 students to improve the quality of teaching and henceforth it will strive to produce better yearly academic achievement.
