Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd (SEC) Group contributes RM1,500,000 to Tabung Bencana Negeri Sabah

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused severe impacts globally and in Malaysia.
The Sabah State Government has initiated a stimulus package totaling RM670 million to combat the impact of this pandemic in Sabah. More assistance is however required to meet the needs of the frontliners and to ease the burden of the rakyat who face difficulties at this time.
In support of the Sabah State Government’s efforts, the SEC Group of Companies has stepped up by donatingRM1,500,000 to the Tabung Bencana Negeri Sabah. Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn Bhd (SEC), its subsidiary Asian Supply Base Sdn Bhd (ASB) and associate company Ranhill Powertron Sdn Bhd (RPSB) have each donated RM500,000 towards this cause.
The handing over ceremony was held at Pusat Pentadbiran Negeri Sabah (PPNS) on 8th April 2020.
SEC’s Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Harun Hj. Ismail presented a cheque to Sabah Chief Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal witnessed by SEC’s Chairman, Datuk Hj. Ramlee Dua. ASB’s Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Hj Harris Hj Annuar Tan presented ASB’s cheque and was witnessed by ASB’s Chairman YB Datuk Donald P. Mojuntin. RPSB’s cheque was presented by its CEO, Ir. Dr. Zahrul Faizi Hussien and witnessed by Datuk Ramlee, who is also RPSB’s director.
