SEC through its Corporate Social Responsible (CSR) program 2018 has approved to contribute the cost of upgrading SK. Salimpodon Darat, Pitas, hostel.
Earlier, the PIBG Chairman has requested assistance from SEC to upgrade the existing Hostel for its students. The existing hostel is in dire need for an upgrade due to its depleted condition. The hostel is used as a Transit House for the students who have to walk between 5 to 6 km to school and during the wet season, the roads accessibility are impassable due to flood. This is a great concern to the families of the students for their safety and well being.
SEC CEO Datuk Harun Ismail in his speech hope that with SEC contribution, the hostel can be upgraded and assist the affected students well being, safety and academic achievement.
